May 31, Singapore – Today, Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), formerly known as Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG), announced the appointments of Sinisa Nikolic, Director, HPC & AI, and Kumar Mitra, Director and Regional General Manager for CAP (Central Asia Pacific) to the Asia Pacific leadership team.
Sinisa joins from IBM, North America, where he spent close to 15 years building High-Performance Computing (HPC) teams, growing sales, revenue and operational efficiencies to drive smarter HPC performance for clients across several industries. Sinisa was most recently Director for Systems HW, Industrial Market, North America at IBM.
Kumar has over 26 years of experience in sales and tech optimization, bringing with him a strong understanding of the needs and nuances of markets across Asia Pacific. He joins Lenovo from Nutanix, where he was Director for OEM Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan, and has also previously held senior positions in Dell.

In his new role, Sinisa will work closely with Lenovo’s global HPC team to drive the portfolio across the region.

Kumar’s new role will focus on synergising the company’s performance across the Central Asia Pacific (CAP) region to drive growth and customer confidence. ISG’s CAP region comprises 8 key markets which include Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan and the Philippines.

Both Sinisa and Kumar will be based in Singapore and will report to Sumir Bhatia, President at Lenovo ISG, Asia Pacific.
