JustCo, Asia’s leading ‘space-as-a-service’ provider, today announced the appointment of Loke Huey Teng as its Chief Financial Officer. A veteran with over 25 years of experience in finance, investment, capital markets and other business areas, Huey Teng will helm JustCo’s finance, capital markets and M&A functions. As a business partner to the Chief Executive Officer, she will collaborate with the executive leadership team to make these functions a competitive advantage for the company.
“How people work has been totally disrupted in the last 12 to 14 months. Hybrid work arrangements are here to stay, and this structural shift is going to super-charge the growth of the flexible real estate industry,” said KONG Wan Sing, Founder and CEO of JustCo. “Huey Teng’s appointment is in tandem with JustCo’s plans to prepare the company for longer-term growth and expansion as we continue to serve the future of work and workspaces. Her vast experience in capital markets and the real estate industry are particularly compelling factors in our decision to invite her to join JustCo on this transformation journey.”
The appointment comes as the leading Asia-based flexible workspace operator sets its sights on further growth plans both in Singapore and within Asia Pacific. The company recently announced agreements signed to manage spaces within Asia Green and The Metropolis in Singapore.
Prior to joining JustCo, Huey Teng served in senior finance roles in both private and public-listed entities. Most recently, she was the Managing Director, Finance & Strategic Development, as well as the Chief Financial Officer at Mercatus Co-operative Limited. Before Mercatus, Huey Teng was with the Mapletree Investments Group, where she held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Mapletree Commercial Trust, as well as other leadership positions in Mapletree Industrial Trust and Mapletree Logistics Trust. Prior to Mapletree, Huey Teng was with Singapore’s PSA Corporation and Ministry of Finance.
