Once you clock out from work, you will have ample time to grab a New Years Eve dinner with friends and go home to do the New Year countdown with your family.

This year, Marina Bay will host two light displays. ” Shine a Light”, the first light show, is a light-up of the Marina Bay skyline with 60 light beams emanating from The Promontory. Each week during the month of December, a different color will be displayed to highlight a different cause.

“Share the Moment”, the second exhibition, will feature student artworks from several institutions displayed on the exterior of three Marina Bay landmarks: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, ArtScience Museum, and the Merlion. The artworks are based on the President’s Volunteerism and Philanthropy Awards 2021 topic of happy moments.

There will also be light displays and projections at the Marina Bay beachfront promenade to boost the light show even more. A stunning exhibition of colors on a treetop canopy, a galaxy, and an abstract clock projection display for the New Year countdown are among the highlights.
