Daniel Viertel is Director, Partner & Alliances, APAC at Wolters Kluwer CCH Tagetik, where he leads the development of strategic partnerships and alliances across Asia Pacific. With more than 20 years of experience spanning finance transformation, enterprise performance management (EPM), and Office of the CFO technologies, Daniel brings a unique combination of commercial leadership and hands-on transformation expertise.
Over the past five years, he has focused on enterprise software sales, partner ecosystem development, and market expansion, helping organisations modernise finance functions through solutions for consolidation, planning, reporting, tax, ESG, and regulatory compliance. He has successfully led major transformation pursuits across the region.
Prior to his current role, Daniel held leadership positions in business development at CCH Tagetik and management consulting roles with KPMG in Singapore and London. Earlier in his career, he worked across finance, reporting, and EPM transformation programs for organisations including Pearson, Audi China, and Volkswagen Group Australia.
His expertise spans finance operating models, financial close and consolidation, FP&A, governance and controls, cloud transformation, and partner-led growth strategies. Daniel is particularly passionate about bringing together technology providers, consulting firms, and business leaders to accelerate finance transformation and unlock greater value from the Office of the CFO.
Daniel holds a Master in Finance from the University of New South Wales and has lived and worked across Australia, China, the United Kingdom and Singapore.
