Rajeev Mantri
CFO, Citi India and Cluster Finance Head for South Asia
According to a statement released today, Rajeev Mantri has been named chief financial officer (CFO) of Citi India and cluster finance head of South Asia, starting October 5, 2021.
Mantri will be based in Mumbai and will be in charge of the finance function, which includes business planning and strategy, balance sheet management, financial controls, reporting, and tax matters. He will focus on delivering the financial plan while collaborating closely with key stakeholders on franchise-level issues in India. He would also be responsible for the control and monitoring of Sri Lanka’s and Bangladesh’s financial functions.
He’ll report to Ashu Khullar, Citi India’s CEO, and Tim Monger, Citi’s Asia Pacific CFO. He succeeds Niraj Parekh, who will relocate to New York to lead the Institutional Clients Group’s financial planning and analysis.
