
Singapore, 16 January 2025 – AirAsia MOVE, ASEAN’s leading travel booking application and Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform under Capital A, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Ant International’s Antom. This collaboration signifies a major step towards revolutionising travel through seamless payment integration within the AirAsia MOVE platform.
Under the agreement, AirAsia MOVE will work closely with Antom, Ant International’s payment and digitisation arm, alongside 2C2P, a global payments platform, and Antom subsidiary. Together, they will integrate state-of-the-art payment solutions, including payment orchestration and acquiring services for both card and local payment methods (LPMs). These enhancements aim to streamline payment processes, reduce cross-border transaction costs, and expand AirAsia MOVE’s consumer reach while offering customers a broader range of payment choices.
A Ceremony to Mark Progress
The partnership was celebrated at a signing ceremony attended by notable leaders, including Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia MOVE; Agnes Chua, Managing Director of Business and Product Development at 2C2P; and Leiming Chen, Chief Sustainability Officer of Ant International. Other senior executives from the involved organisations were also present to mark this significant occasion.
