Singapore, 28 October 2024Supermom, a Singapore-based AI consumer data platform designed specifically by and for mothers, has successfully raised S$18 million (US$14 million) in its Series B funding round. Granite Asia took the lead in the round, which also included new investment from Hearst Ventures as well as return investors AC Ventures and Qualgro.

This funding comes after Supermom’s previous Series A round of S$8 million in December 2022, which Qualgro also led. This latest investment reinforces Supermom’s role as a leading innovator, using AI and data to deliver value to families and consumer brands alike.

Supermom has become a prominent platform that connects brands with consumers, particularly mothers, families, and local communities. It has established a strong network of over 10 million parents across Southeast Asia, more than 6,000 online communities, and over 250 client brands, including multinationals like AIA, Kimberly Clark, Abbott Laboratories, and Unilever, as well as regional giants such as Mandiri, Indofood, and Wings Group.

The platform provides families with insights into lifestyle and purchasing decisions while also creating income-generating opportunities for mothers through sharing insights and creating user-generated content. Supermom’s platform fosters a supportive community, encouraging connections among parents with similar interests.

With this new funding, Supermom aims to invest further in AI capabilities and expand internationally, enhancing its product offerings and fuelling innovation to deliver increased value to both brands and consumers. A key priority will be to expand the team to support these development goals.
